Proctoring: Late Add and Create Temporary Student

  • Updated

This article shows how to add students to a proctor group session after proctor groups have been created, including during the time of testing. For existing students, use the Late Add feature. For students not in the system, use the Create Temporary Student feature. For more information, see Proctoring a Test and Proctoring a TestNav Test.

  1. Go to https://adamexam.com/
  2. Click the Proctor a Test button on the right.
  3. Sign in with the Test Code and Proctor Password provided by a district or school coordinator.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Late Add button to add an existing student to the proctor group after the administration has started.
    • Click the Create Temporary Student button to add a temporary student who is not yet in the system, or whose credentials aren't known. Select the Add accommodations toggle to add accommodations for the student. Temporary students can start testing immediately.
Note: You can merge the temporary student to a permanent student record later in Rostering > Users (see User Config and Search). Temporary students are identified as temporary in Rostering.
  5. Enter the student information, and then click Save.
