Proctoring a TestNav Test using a Proctor Code
Test Proctors do not need to be ADAM users to proctor a test. If they have been provided with a Test Code and a Proctor Password, Test Proctors can launch the Proctor Dashboard without logging into ADAM.
- Go to https://adamexam.com/.
- Click the Proctor a Test button on the right.
- Enter the Test Code and Proctor Password provided by a district or school coordinator. Each administration (class) has a unique test code and proctor password.
- Click the Confirm button to verify that the Proctor Group Name is correct.
- Enter a first and last name if this information is not already filled in, and then click Save. You may also be asked to agree to a Proctor Acknowledgment. The proctoring page will open.
Using the Proctor Dashboard
The following sections appear on the Proctor Dashboard.
Testing Information
This area includes the name of the Test/Assessment, the name of the administration, which should correspond to the Grade Level and Session number, and the name of the Proctor Group.
Config Information
This area provides the test window for the overall Assessment, the Proctor’s name, and a field called Kiosk Only. This value should always be set to Yes. It forces the student to use a secured version of the test player.

You can click in the Section column for a student to see test and section details, including the student's start and end time for the test and each section. The Item column shows the question number the student is currently working on.

This column shows the number of accommodations a student has. Hovering over the count lists their accommodations, such as Text to Speech, Extended Time, etc.
Tip: To change a student's accommodations after a test has started, have the student exit the test, edit their accommodations in Rostering > User Setup, and then reseat the student in the Proctor Dashboard.
