Follow these steps to schedule a test administration. After scheduling an administration, the admin card will be available on the Test Management > Administrations page. See Understanding the Administration Card.
- Go to Test Management > Administrations.
- Click the Administer New button on the top-right.
- Follow the steps in the configuration pages. You may not have access to all the configuration pages described here depending on the test chosen for the administration.
- On the Test Selection page, provide the following information, and then click Next.
- Test – Select the test you want to administer.
- Administration Name – Enter a name for the administration.
- Details – Enter any additional information that may be useful for proctoring.
- On the Access page, provide the following information, and then click Next. Some tests have pre-defined access values that cannot be changed.
- Secure Access – Select Kiosk Only if the administration requires students to use the secure browser.
- Show All Rubric Content – Select the checkbox to display the rubric to the student.
- Org – Select an organization to limit the administration to specific organizational levels.
- Access Window – Select the time zone, start/end dates, and (optionally) the day start/end times for the administration.
- On the Data/Accessibility page, provide the following information, and then click Next.
- Allow Not Reseated – Allow sessions to be continued without being reseated.
- Disable Auto Submit – Sessions will not be automatically submitted at any time.
- Training Administration – Make this a training administration, using a training form, to learn about ADAM and prepare your users for a smooth assessment administration. Admin cards for training administrations display the "Training" label.
- Enable Quick Access (Quick ID with PIN and QR Code) – Allow students to sign in to the test with a quick ID and PIN. This ensures that students are accurately entering test sessions. The quick ID and PIN can be found on the Proctor Dashboard, student test ticket, and Admin cards in ADAM. Quick IDs are a color followed by a four-digit code, such as RED1234.
- On the Students page, select the method for assigning students to the test. Only schools in your district will be available. See Administrations: Class-Based vs Eligibility for more information.
- Classes – Class-based administration. Students must be enrolled in a class.
- District/Grade – Class-based administration. Students must be enrolled in a class.
- Eligibility Criteria – See Setting Up an Eligibility-Based Administration.
- After selecting the method above, select the criteria for populating the administration, such as Grade and/or Assignment Tag, Course, and Organization (these will be different for each method). Assignment tags, such as Algebra 1, can be given to students in User Setup.
- On the Review page, verify the selected options, and then click Submit. Your assessment will appear on the Test Management > Administrations page.
